Caractère is built around the estate’s perpetual reserve, initiated in 2002. Each new harvest joins the previous years, creating a wine shaped as much by time as by place.
Extended ageing brings depth and texture while preserving the freshness and saline line of Villers-Marmery. It offers a different reading of the village: not a single vintage, but the memory of many.
